When I was a DJ for college radio, the song, Candy Valentine, got requested every week. I recently purchased the EP and like it more now than I did then. All tracks but "Emily" have a nice, haunting, sad tone to them. All are well-written and well performed--with the right amount of personality and edge given to the tracks. I especially like the title track and Lonely Blue. This is a great way to get introduced to Matt Keating or this genre of indie rock/folksie music. Best of luck to Matt on the Future Farmers label.
